I only have Prophecies, and I really need to start making some decent Cash. So far I've been doing Hydra's over and over again, but the gains are... weak.

Does anyone know any currently working Tyria only builds that can Solo well for monks or Ele's? Or anything for that matter? I can't get Nightfall skills, and I can't get Factions skills... Most builds I've seen anywhere these days use them, which is annoying because I can't get those skills.

Please assist.

Monk? The 55 Monk is best in Tyria since you have access to both [skill]Shield of Judgment[/skill] as well as [skill]Spiteful Spirit[/skill] which are both two of the main skills used in 55ing.

Possible places are outside Bergen Hot Springs with a 55 and SoJ (though it's overfarmed). The side path at the beginning of Gates of Kryta (lots of undead). Minotaur outside Ice Tooth cave, UW/FoW can also be farmed with a 55 monk (bring SS instead of SoJ) and the titans in Defend North Kryta province

All of these are in HM and I can vouch for them (except the UW/FoW ones, Haven't tried those out) and honestly say that they're very profitiable. Plenty of gold dead bows have dropped for me and titans in HM drop LOTS of gold runes

That said ele farming in Tyria is pretty crappy, you don't have [skill]Sliver Armor[/skill], [skill]Shadow Form[/skill] or [skill]Stoneflesh Aura[/skill] which all form the basis for most (if not all) ele farming

And how exactly do you farm FoW and UW with a 55 monk? O.o Last time I went into the FoW, it was evil >.> And painful >.>

FoW is done primarily through the use of a 55 and a SS Necromancer, in a duo effort. However its not the easiest thing, and you pretty much have to have friends / guildies do it with you, because I rarely ever see anyone spamming LFG for it.

It's possible to solo 55 FoW. A 55 Monk needs a cover hex enchantment for PS and HB while the Necro needs spirit bond and a cover enchantment. Both uses SS and IP

UW/FoW aren't places you start to learn 55ing. Try the minotaurs outside Icetooth Cave and other areas that are easily accessible before moving onto UW/FoW
